Paper Pavilion Final

For this piece, I tried to develop a structure that would allow for exploration from many different angles. This pavilion could potentially be a memorial at a naval museum, the flowing nature representative of the waves and sails, as well as its modern forms bringing the everlasting nature of the waves together with the bygone era of sail-powered ships as the primary mode of sailing. The shadows created by the structure help to emphasize the curving forms and the translucence of the paper create new forms within the framework of the structure.
